About Me :)

Amy Foster [born 2004] is a working class disabled artist based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. Amy’s practice is heavily inspired by the natural world and urban wildlife around her home and studio space. A passion for nature, specifically birds, is evident throughout her practice.

Working primarily in gouache paint and recently expanding into a large scale her work contains a characteristically detailed softness full of both warmth and colour.

Her practice explores and highlights nature often forgotten and overlooked in the urban world. It connects people and shares the beauty, and importance of nature's place in our local area.
